“International Symposium on Ballast Water and Biofouling Management in Invasive Alien Species Prevention and Control” will be organized in Antalya on 28-30 November 2023. The conference language is Turkish and English. Abstracts will also be submitted in Turkish and English. There will be no limit to the number of scientific contributions by an author. All contributions will be reviewed and decided by the Scientific Committee.
Scientists, experts and interested persons are expected to attend the symposium.
Registration is required to deliver a presentation or to participate as a guest in the symposium.

The accommodation, domestic travel and meals of the speakers who want to physically attend the symposium and whose abstracts are accepted will be covered and they will be contacted. In multi-author works, the related expenses of the presenter will be covered.
Accommodation and travel expenses of those who want to attend the symposium as a guest will not be covered. Those who want to participate must register.
Turkish and English abstracts prepared according to the abstract template should be at least 200 and at most 750 words. Abstracts prepared without using the template and without complying with the word count will not be evaluated.
Abstracts prepared according to the template must be uploaded in doc/word format by registering on the Abstract Submission page until October 13, 2023 at the latest. All participants are responsible and liable for the work they submit to the symposium. The authors of the study are responsible for the ethics committee report or institutional permissions related to the field of science in which they work. Symposium committees do not have any responsibility in this regard. In case of ethical, legal and other problems that may arise, all liability unilaterally belongs to the author / authors who submit the work. The symposium is not responsible for such negativities and reserves all legal and other rights.
The total presentation time is 20 minutes (approximately 4-5 minutes should be reserved for Q&A) unless otherwise stated. Participants who have used all of their time for the presentation will not be given additional time for Q&A at the end of the presentation. It is expected to include the symposium information on the presentation cover. Presentations should focus on the essence of the study instead of general statements known by everyone.
